Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup wholemeal flour
- 1 tbsp chilli flakes
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp
- flaky sea salt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp chilli oil
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Pre-heat your oven to 160 degrees c
- Mix together all the dry ingredients, then make a well in the middle and add the water and oil.
- Stir together until a dough is formed. You may need to adjust (add more wholemeal) it if it is too sticky.
- Take about a third of the dough and roll it out as thinly as possible.
- Using a sharp knife cut the dough into large triangles, dont worry about being too precise!
- Carefully place onto a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until crisp.
Notes
- You can easily change the flavour of your lavosh. Try substituting chilli flakes with cumin or dried rosemary. I also think these would work well gluten free with a mix of gram or rice flour, just a bit trickier to roll. Enjoy!
